“I’m a night owl. I’m in the p**** like it’s 1999 now.” Track 4 of TRAP. Started this song in Summer 2019, a summer where my sleep schedule was all over the place. Pretty sure most of these vocals and production were done in the 12am-5am timeframe. Something about the track just spoke chaos to me, so the hook and story I went with is one of complete hedonistic excess. Of course, in context of the album it just shows a further spiral towards THE DEEP END.
